Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff at multiple sites and ensure service quality within budget. You will lead hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role demands effective communication, team leadership, and a focus on safety and quality. Experience in service industries and English fluency are essential, with bilingualism considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial
• Proven ability to lead and supervise staff across multiple sites
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; conduct performance appraisals and development plans
• Champion company values and people culture
• Supervise duties, inspect cleanliness, and ensure quality service within budget
• Schedule work and manage labor budgets for assigned accounts
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff
• Prepare payroll, work orders, and training records
• Build relationships with customers through regular account visits and issue resolution
• Monitor accounts for additional opportunities and ensure quality control site visits
