Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Illinois is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring safety, quality and on-time deliveries across three workflow stages. You will engage employees during shifts and coordinate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to hit business goals.

The role supports a fast-paced fulfillment network with opportunities for growth across sites, including weekend and night schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and noisy environments.
