Amazon is hiring an Area Manager in Irving, TX, to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer deliveries. You will engage, coach, and motivate staff across shifts while collaborating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to align plans with business objectives.

The role requires 2+ years in people/performance management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years Amazon experience), and a flexible schedule including weekends or nights.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Adapt to environments with variable temperatures, noise, and outside loading areas.
