Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff across fulfillment operations. You will engage your team during shifts to maximize safety, quality, attendance and performance while meeting customer delivery promises.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, collaborating with safety, engineering and HR to implement plans, and working a flexible schedule that may include weekends and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours in shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and outdoor loading areas.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
