Job summary

Options For All, a USA TODAY Top Workplace, seeks an Area Manager to oversee program management, staff development, and budget oversight in the San Diego region. You will lead client engagements, coordinate with regional centers, and ensure high-quality services in a supportive, inclusive culture.

In this role, you will build relationships with service providers, program managers, and internal teams while managing budgets, audits, and staff performance. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong grammar and vocabulary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and videoconferencing tools; experience with database systems.
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree; strong personnel management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional center personnel, service coordinators, care providers, and program managers.
  • Enter referrals into OFA’s client referral system and determine eligibility.
  • Oversee ISP scheduling, attendance, and service quality; monitor incidents and compliance.
  • Manage program budgets, expenditures, records, and audits; ensure quality assurance.
  • Lead hiring, coaching, and performance management of staff; coordinate HR investigations as needed.

The employee must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment.
