Job summary

Stake Center Locating is seeking an Area Manager, Locate to oversee workload distribution, customer relations, and coordinate with Corporate. The role includes IT and purchasing duties with homeowners and the public, along with disciplinary oversight and vehicle/equipment inspections.

The position also involves mentoring Supervisors, assisting in difficult locate jobs, interpreting reports (PDR, audits, production), and ensuring staffing and training through performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check for access to restricted and/or controlled areas.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass random drug screens and to remain drug free.
• Ability to locate.
• Ability to effectively perform a PDR or damage investigation.
• Ability to interact with all involved, the public, customers, contractors, utility representatives and all those under their direction.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
