Job summary

G&E Partners is seeking an Area Manager to spearhead and execute major infrastructure projects across highway, paving, bridge, utility, and site development. You will have full autonomy over your portfolio and will report to senior leadership.

You will oversee procurement, risk, budgeting, and resource allocation while driving safety cultures and client relationships across the Mid-Atlantic region.

A reputable fourth-generation Heavy Civil Contractor who operates across the Mid-Atlantic is searching for an individual to take the reins of an Area Management opportunity.

You will spearhead and execute critical projects across highway, paving, bridge, utility, and site development and have full autonomy across your portfolio. Most contractors offer a job title, our client offers you a business to build, a team to shape, and a stake in the outcome.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will oversee and manage large-scale infrastructure projects in their backlog valued up to $300m+
• Responsible for procurement, risk management, quality control, hiring talent, project planning, resource allocation.
• Design and execute their regional budgets and handle cost-control measures that directly impact company profitability.
• You will champion safety and mentor leaders, coach on-site managers and projects managers therefore dictating how the company’s projects are managed.
• Serve as a trusted executive point of contact for key clients, developers, and local authorities and spear head the development of key relationships.
• You will establish uncompromising safety cultures that ensure every worker goes home safely at night
• Identify market trends and subcontracting networks to position the region for future business growth

What they need from you:

• Manage, execute and grow a portfolio of projects ranging from $30M-$300M+.
• Lead, mentor and train a team of 5+ Site Managers and Project Mangers across the region
• Act as the main point of contact for local stakeholders, clients, planning authorities and community boards.
