Job summary

G&E Partners, a leading Heavy Civil General Contractor, seeks an Area Manager to drive regional project portfolios and operational excellence across multiple sites. You will oversee budgets, safety culture, and client relations while establishing strategic relationships with authorities and stakeholders.

You will lead a team of site and project managers, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of complex projects valued at tens to hundreds of millions.

• Act as executive point of contact for key clients, developers, and local authorities.

Job description

This Heavy Civil General Contractor self-performs their work across some of the nations most complex and unique projects across civil construction. As Area Manager, you'll have full operational autonomy over the projects you oversee, not just oversight from the side-lines.

This opportunity is for someone ready to imprint their values and skills and take control of one of the company’s respective states.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will strategically design and execute their regional budgets and handle cost-control measures that directly impact company profitability.
• You will mentor leaders and coach on-site managers and projects managers therefore dictating how the company’s projects are managed.
• You will focus on serving as a trusted executive point of contact for key clients, developers, and local authorities and spear head the development of key relationships.
• You will instil and establish uncompromising safety cultures that ensure every worker goes home safely at night
• Negotiate deals with suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify market trends and subcontracting networks to position the region for future business growth

What they need from you:

• Manage, execute and grow a portfolio of projects ranging from $30M-$200M+.
• Lead, mentor and train a team of 5+ Site Managers and Project Mangers across the region
• Achieved zero reportable safety incidents across all managed sites over a 24-month period
• Acted as the main point of contact for local councils, planning authorities and community boards.
