Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in long-term care maintenance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals.
• Familiar with safety policies and patient rights.
• Experience with HVAC, boiler, water systems, and generators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across multiple facilities.
• Supervise maintenance staff, schedules, and functions.
• Perform maintenance tasks to keep plant and equipment safe and efficient.
• Establish, implement, and audit preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise outside contractors for repairs and projects.
• Inspect fire control systems and coordinate monthly drills.
• Promote safety awareness and conduct new hire safety orientations.
• Manage budgets for repair, maintenance, and projects.
• Order and maintain supplies and repair tools.
