The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance programs, and compliance with regulatory standards while balancing budgets and ensuring readiness for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years in a long-term care maintenance role.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Experience with heating/air conditioning, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and generators.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles.
• Safe defensive driving and able to qualify for company insurance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance operations: supervise staff, schedules, and functions across multiple facilities.
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure safe and functioning equipment and building systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and audits.
• Supervise contractors for repairs and projects.
• Maintain safety standards through inspections of fire control systems and coordination of monthly drills.
• Promote safety awareness and participate in new hire safety orientation.
• Budget management across repair, maintenance, and projects.
• Stock and equipment oversight: order and maintain supplies and repair tools.
