Job Summary

The Area Maintenance Specialist will perform various maintenance tasks as directed by the District Manager. Responsibilities may include the tasks listed below, with additional duties assigned as needed. Opportunities for skill development and expanded responsibilities are available through training.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to:

• Fuel-Related Equipment: Dispensers, air stations, fuel filters, nozzles, hoses, breakaways, splash guards, and chucks.
• General Repairs: Ceiling tiles, base trim, painting, pothole patching, sanding, restroom and door maintenance, touch-ups, caulking, signage.
• Basic Plumbing: Faucet and filter maintenance.
• Outdoor Maintenance: Landscaping, mulch, bollard poles, bike racks, fence repairs, lighting, power washing, air hoses.
• Hardware & Fixtures: Door handles, locks, shelving.
• Other Tasks: Compressor maintenance, dispenser upkeep, signage, floor drains, miscellaneous upkeep.

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance, mechanics, and repair skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This role involves indoor and outdoor work in different weather conditions. Safety equipment and guidelines will be provided and must be followed.
