Job summary
Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a dynamic maintenance team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across the site in Louisville, KY. You’ll balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving, developing maintenance strategies, and coordinating with operations to handle emergencies.
You will mentor technicians and automation engineers, drive preventive maintenance, and monitor MHE metrics to improve performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technicians and automation engineers, promoting growth and performance.
- Ensure rigorous safety protocols during maintenance activities across the site.
- Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations teams and manage external contractors while maintaining service standards.
- Monitor MHE metrics and analyze system performance with relevant teams.
