Job summary

Walmart is seeking a maintenance supervisor to lead a department in Midway, TN. You will supervise staff, manage maintenance operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement across facilities.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance and relevant education, with responsibilities spanning staffing, budgeting, and compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and related standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in Industrial field and 1 year supervisory experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Industrial field
• 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance environment including mentoring and evaluating staff
• 2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including leading a work or project team
• 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial environment; managing workload and hiring activities

Responsibilities

• Communicate and implement business plan for area by setting goals and staffing to achieve facility goals
• Monitor productivity and ensure quality and safety standards; train associates on policies
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties and providing feedback
• Manage maintenance department operations including equipment and regulatory compliance
• Control expenses and asset utilization; review budgets and financial reports
