Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Loss Prevention Manager to protect assets across assigned stores and districts, leading shortage control, safety programs, and SPS development in partnership with store leadership. The role requires driving audits, investigations, and program enhancements across a large field team.

This position demands multi-unit LP experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence leadership, enforce policies, and optimize shrink reduction with

Qualifications

• 5+ years directly-related, multi-unit Loss Prevention and/or Retail work experience.
• Experience in driving successful loss prevention, shortage control, accident reduction and fraud prevention programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Loss Prevention technologies.

Responsibilities

• Achieve shortage reduction goals for assigned stores/districts/area.
• Identify shortage risks and develop action plans with stores.
• Lead and train SPS associates and partner with store leadership.
• Maintain records of theft activity and reporting.
• Drive safety and accident reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other departments.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding of LP staff.
