Volvo Cars Charleston Body Shop is seeking an Area Leader - Manufacturing Engineering to coordinate and follow up on ME body industrialization activities across the designated area. You will lead cross-functional teams to improve producibility, reduce costs, and ensure safe, efficient processes.

You will partner with area leaders and suppliers to secure deliveries, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Volvo's standards in quality and integrity.

Qualificações

• University degree or similar experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Broad knowledge of body shop processes.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Leadership with strategic thinking and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate ME Body Industrialization deliveries within the defined area.
• Identify risks early and escalate as needed.
• Work toward closing the gap to the Vision layout.
• Be the main contact for area turnkey contractors.
• Secure planning for short and long range horizons.
• Drive project KPI targets and capitalize lessons learned.
