Job summary

Summit Building Services is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our janitorial team serving Knoxville and surrounding areas. You will supervise staff, coordinate coverage, train new employees, and work with HR to ensure proper staffing and training.

The role includes 30-40 hours per week, various shifts, and pay at $19.50 per hour. This full-time position requires hands-on leadership, attention to client requests, and ongoing responsiveness to site needs.

Qualifications

• Supervise and train janitorial staff across multiple sites.
• Coordinate coverage and staffing with Area Manager and HR as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities

• Work with employees to handle client requests or complaints in a timely manner.
• Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Arrange/perform coverage in the event of employee absence.
• Complete work tickets and send reports to Area Manager.
