Job summary

Altabank, a division of Glacier Bank, seeks a Float Assistant Retail Branch Manager to provide leadership and operational support across multiple Utah branches. This role will act as interim leader in the absence of the Retail Branch Manager and ensure regulatory compliance, customer service excellence, and staffing coverage.

You will work with Retail Branch Managers and the Retail Area Manager to maintain sales execution, customer experience, and audit readiness across branches.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage across an assigned Area based on staffing needs, vacations, leaves, training schedules, and vacancies.
• Perform all Relationship Banker III and/or Assistant Retail Branch Manager responsibilities while assigned to a branch.
• Assist Retail Branch Managers in achieving branch sales, service, deposit growth, and customer relationship goals.
• Support Retail Branch Manager as an additional branch leader during assigned periods; ensure daily branch operations are conducted effectively and in line with policies.
• Support onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and development of employees across the area.
