Bechtel is seeking an Area Field Engineer for a long-term assignment in Cheyenne, WY. You will lead a field engineering team, manage work planning, materials, safety, quality, testing, and system turnover across multiple commodities within the Bechtel scope.

You will report to the Area Manager and Project Field Engineer, coordinating with construction and startup to ensure safe, complete, and compliant field activities. A strong shift to zero-accident safety is emphasized.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited university with 8–10 years of experience, or 12–14 years without a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of construction activities as they relate to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
• Experience leading field engineering teams and coordinating multiple trades in an NA Building Trades environment.

• Coordinates and directs multi-disciplinary activities for the operation of assigned area.
• Oversees field engineering activities, safety, quality, and turnover coordination.
• Reviews inspection plans and subcontractor submittals and interfaces with startup staff as required.
