Job Description

The Area Facilities Manager (AFM) oversees the upkeep and appearance of club locations in their assigned region. This role involves collaborating with club management, maintenance teams, and managing repairs and scheduled maintenance. The AFM coordinates emergency and planned repairs, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, glass, and carpentry work. They also manage club refreshes and capital projects quarterly or as needed and serve as the primary contact for all facilities-related issues, requests, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage repairs across various trades at assigned locations.
  • Conduct weekly walkthroughs to ensure standards and safety compliance.
  • Bid out and manage capital projects post-approval.
  • Coordinate after-hours work and security requirements.
  • Supervise work during nights and weekends as needed.
  • Develop scope of work and manage refresh projects.
  • Manage budgets for repairs, maintenance, and projects.
  • Prepare and issue work and purchase orders via Service Channel.
  • Approve and process invoices.
  • Update project statuses regularly using FPS.
  • Be on call 24/7 for emergencies.
  • Respond to facility-related emails within 24 hours.
  • Attend staff meetings and operate with urgency to resolve issues impacting member experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Experience managing small to medium multi-trade projects.
  • Experience in luxury retail or industrial facilities.
  • Regular travel to clubs required.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, with excellent communication skills.

Pay Range: $115K - $125K
