Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You will set expectations for service, operations, and team performance while coaching Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals. This hands-on leader will own office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations; travel frequently to maintain in-person presence and drive revenue and business results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own 4–6 offices, ensuring consultative client experience with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead teams by setting expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior, performance, and feedback.
• Develop bench strength and high-potential talent across offices.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and act to improve results and client retention.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
