Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, team performance, and business results while traveling between offices.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance leadership with strategic oversight, and own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail or operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.
• Experience leading through change and process adoption.
• Ability to prioritize across locations and exercise independent judgment.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate to action.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work aligned hours.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and act to improve client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand with staffing and readiness.
