Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive business results across all locations.

The role requires 3+ years of multi-unit leadership, a client-centric mindset, and strong operational execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/ops environment with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experiences.
• Proven leadership capability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead teams by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and outcomes to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance are executed.
• Oversee office and workforce readiness including facilities and equipment.
