Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and drive performance while balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations, guiding teams to execute with discipline and achieve business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with ability to deliver consultative experiences.
• Proven leadership capability with coaching and accountability skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and act on insights.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive improvements.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to achieve consistent performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and business outcomes for the offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take action to improve results, client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal prep.
