Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality, consultative client experience and strong operational execution.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align staffing and performance, and drive business results across locations. As a visible leader, you’ll travel between offices, set expectations, monitor metrics, and build bench strength to sustain excellence across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams in retail/service/operations
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management
• Ability to travel frequently between offices and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline and consistency
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact to reinforce strengths and close gaps
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors in offices
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance
• Provide feedback to strengthen team execution and bench strength
• Own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations across locations
