Affinity Hospice is seeking an Area Executive Operations Manager to provide regional leadership, clinical direction, and regulatory compliance across branches. The role includes interim ED duties and up to 90% travel, ensuring operational stability and leadership coverage where ED positions are vacant.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in a related field, with a master's in nursing preferred, and at least three years in healthcare or hospice management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for assigned branches within the region.
• Serve as interim Executive Director by traveling to and sitting in branch locations when there is an open or vacant ED position.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including clinical, licensure, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor operational, financial, and performance metrics and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Support hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management of branch leadership and staff.
• Travel up to 90% of the time within the assigned region and maintain flexibility to respond to urgent operational needs.

This role aligns closely with the responsibilities of an Executive Director while extending oversight at a regional level and serving as interim leadership for branches with vacant Executive Director positions.
