Job summary

Young Life in Bend, Oregon is seeking an Area Director I or II to lead ministry efforts across clubs, campaigns, and camps. The role emphasizes spiritual leadership, fundraising, and collaboration with volunteers and staff to reach local youth with the Gospel.

You will develop and implement strategic ministry plans, recruit and train leaders, and manage relationships with churches and the community while maintaining fundraising goals and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year of related ministry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• A call to reach kids with the Gospel.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead a model Young Life club and supervise Campaigners and camps.
• Develop and implement ministry plans to reach every kid in the area.
• Coach volunteers and staff; build leadership teams reflective of the community.
