Job summary

Caregiver is seeking an Area Director/Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to ensure services align with each individual's PDP. The role may also train and supervise direct care Team Members to deliver high-quality supports.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in social services, at least 5 years' experience with developmental disabilities, and supervisory capability. Strong writing and communication skills are essential to coordinate with the IDT and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social services, accredited university/college.
  • Minimum 5 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual program plans.
  • Supervise training and day habilitation activities for consumers.
  • Regularly monitors data sheets, noting progression/regression of goals.
  • Ensures each active treatment is integrated and monitored for timely implementation.
  • Coordinates IDT meetings and ensures documentation is completed and filed.
  • Ensures compliance with ICF/MR program principles.
