Job summary

HAS LLC is seeking an Area Director in Idaho Falls/Ammon to provide operational, financial, and regulatory leadership for residential habilitation services. Reporting to the Regional VP, you will oversee program performance, staffing, client retention, compliance, and quality of care with a person-centered focus.

You will lead recruitment and staff development, manage budgets, and partner with families and community partners to ensure high-quality services across multiple locations within Idaho.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or in related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in residential habilitation, developmental disability services, healthcare, or similar setting.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing, performance metrics, and multi-site operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Idaho driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across programs and locations.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
• Manage area budgets, labor costs, overtime, and controllable expenses.
• Support documentation and billing readiness.
• Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop staff; ensure staffing coverage and training compliance.
• Promote client retention and continuity of care; support admissions and transitions.
• Ensure compliance with Idaho regulations and company policies; oversee audits and incident reporting.
• Build relationships with families, guardians, service coordinators, and community partners.
