Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Area Director/District Supervisor to oversee daily operations across 5–10 SONIC Drive-In locations, build elite management teams, and drive profitability and guest satisfaction. You will train and support restaurant staff, ensure food is delivered safely and efficiently, and maintain a customer-first service culture while enforcing company policies and standards.

This role requires multi-unit QSR leadership with P&L experience and strong communication and hiring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience leading 5–10 unit operations in quick-service.
• Proven track record in driving sales and controlling costs.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 5–10 SONIC Drive-In locations, driving operational standards, sales, growth, and P&L efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, and train General Managers to build high-performing teams.
• Ensure fast, friendly service with strict food safety compliance.
• Optimize labor, inventory, and expenses to hit financial targets.
• Adhere to employee handbook, policies, and practices.
• Foster a customer-service mindset and staff accountability.
• Interview and hire to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Prepare operational reports and action plans to counter unfavorable trends.
