Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Area Director/District Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple locations and to build elite management teams. You will lead 5–10 drive-ins, driving profits, guest satisfaction, and staff performance, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

You will coach General Managers, drive talent development, and ensure adherence to brand standards and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of multi-unit QSR management experience.
• Proven track record of managing profit and loss (P&L) statements and scaling store revenue.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 5-10 SONIC Drive-In locations, driving operational standards, sales, growth, and P&L efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, and train General Managers to build strong, high-performing drive-in teams.
• Ensure every location delivers fast, friendly service and adheres to food safety guidelines.
• Optimize labor, inventory and operating expenses to hit aggressive financial targets.
• Interview and hire General Managers and restaurant staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to address unfavorable trends.
