The Area Coordinator is a full-time, live-in professional staff member within the Office of Residence Life who is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and direction of a residential area that includes two traditional residence halls and an apartment community, collectively housing over 350 students. This role is essential in supporting the University’s mission through the development of safe, inclusive, and educational living environments that promote student learning, retention, and personal growth. The Area Coordinator supervises a team of Resident Advisors (RAs), manages daily building operations, coordinates student conduct processes, and serves as a critical first responder for crises and emergencies. This individual also partners closely with facilities, campus safety, counseling, and academic support offices to ensure seamless residential experiences for students.
