Job summary

Dartcor Food Services in Morris County, NJ seeks an Hourly Traveling Cook to support multiple workplace dining locations.

You will prepare breakfast, lunch and catered meals according to recipes, set up stations, rotate stock, and help with safety and presentation while traveling daily. Join a flexible team; travel allowance may be provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary experience in workplace dining, restaurants, or catering.
• Must travel daily between multiple workplace dining locations and have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and equipment operation.
• Strong teamwork, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned workplace dining locations as scheduled to provide culinary support.

• Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating products following FIFO and safety rules.

• Communicate with on-site chefs, managers, and team members to ensure smooth service.
• Provide feedback on menu items and suggest improvements when appropriate.

The Hourly Traveling Cook supports multiple corporate dining accounts by preparing and serving high‑quality meals in accordance with company recipes, standards, and safety guidelines. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong culinary skills to ensure seamless food service operations across multiple sites.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and break down food stations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

• Support catering and special events as needed.
• Communicate effectively with on‑site chefs, managers, and team members to ensure smooth service.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hourly position; schedule varies by assignment; Monday-Friday
• Compensation -$27.00 per hour
• Travel allowance may be provided.
