Job summary

Levy in Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Area Controller to oversee the financial operations of multiple locations within an assigned area. You will ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and support sound business decisions in a hospitality environment.

You will partner with operational leaders, analyze performance, monitor budgets, and drive profitability while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple locations, preferably in hospitality, food service, entertainment, or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting software.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial activities for multiple assigned locations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue, expenses, labor, food costs, and other key financial metrics.
• Partner with General Managers, Directors of Operations, and other leaders to improve financial performance.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and overall profitability.
• Assist with audits and resolve audit findings; provide training to location leadership and accounting teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes to increase profitability.
• Travel regularly between locations as needed.
