Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in construction and project planning for complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale construction management exceeding $500M annually.
• Familiarity with contract delivery methodologies and legal considerations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

• Oversee new build and construction-ready sites, managing project execution and preconstruction support
• Communicate timely updates on project capacity and escalation issues to leadership as necessary
• Monitor project financial health and KPIs

• Support contract negotiations and assist teams in presentations for Change Order Approval Meetings (CCAM)
• Coordinate with other Area Construction Managers for alignment and sharing best practices
• Ensure timely resolution of site issues and actively participate in onboarding new hires

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Area Construction Manager, Data Center to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will oversee construction execution and preconstruction support for new build and construction-ready sites, with a strong focus on schedule, financial performance, and operational readiness. The position partners closely with site teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues quickly, support negotiations, and keep complex projects moving forward. The ideal candidate will also help develop team members, align best practices across regional managers, and contribute to successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually
