Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Category Manager to lead the implementation of the division's category strategy across multiple Distribution Centers in the defined Area. You will drive assortment updates, analyze SKUs, and support local vendor relationships to meet merchandising goals.

Responsibilities include facilitating product training, aligning with the culinary team, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve area performance within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in business or related field required.
Minimum 7 years of category management experience.
Experience in food service or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement area category strategy across multiple DCs.
Review area assortment, identify slow-moving SKUs, and pursue growth opportunities.
Support local vendor relationships and drive merchandising goals.
Coordinate with culinary team, sales staff, and training for new products.
