US Foods is seeking an Area Produce Category Manager to lead the Area's produce strategy across multiple Distribution Centers. You will own the assortment updates, align with national category goals, and support local customer needs while coordinating with culinary teams, sales staff, and vendors.

The role requires a four-year college degree in business or related field with at least seven years in category management, plus strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 7 years category management experience.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience in the Food Service or Food Manufacturing industries strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel required; working knowledge of PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation plan for Area produce category and operational strategies customized for multiple Distribution Centers.
• Ensure implementation aligns with overall US Foods category strategy and Area needs.
• Review Area product assortment and identify growth opportunities.
• Responsible for profitable sales growth within assigned categories for the Area.
• Maintain lead role in gathering local market data for multiple DCs.
