Job summary

HDR, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Area Business Group Manager for the Building Engineering Services group in Arizona/New Mexico.

You will lead and grow multidisciplinary design teams across Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Control Systems, Fire Protection, and BIM, shaping project delivery and client engagement. Collaborate with regional leaders, mentor staff, develop revenue forecasts, and contribute to proposals while upholding HDR values of quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience and leadership of diverse teams.
• Active engagement in professional associations to enhance HDR technical expertise.
• Ability to work with regional/local office managers and other leaders.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow multidisciplinary design teams across multiple disciplines.
• Inspire excellence through quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support policies, mentor staff and contribute to planning, proposals, and client engagement.
• Drive project development strategies, new business prospects, and standards.
• Develop and maintain an effective area program with revenue forecasts and budgets.
• Serve as Program Manager or Principal-In-Charge as applicable.
• Collaborate with regional and national leaders to align strategy and drive growth.
• Perform other duties as needed.
