Empire Today, LLC is seeking an Area Accounting Associate to join our marketing team in New Jersey. You will collect, verify, and post completion paperwork, deposits, and COD payments for all products within your designated Area, reporting to the Area Office Manager Branch Accountant.

You should have solid accounting basics, proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with sales and installation teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of accounting/collections experience or training.
• Knowledge of Home Improvement/Sales industry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Audit daily work orders against data in Empire Today systems for markets within the Area.
• Make daily readiness calls to customers.
• Maintain an accurate list of upcoming installation projects for the markets within the Area.
• Collect and review completion documents from installation contractors.
• Process completion documents for completed jobs to recognize revenues in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Research, document and contact Install Contractors for outstanding paperwork for markets within the Area.
