Job summary

Empire Today is seeking an Area Accounting Associate to join our marketing team in the Tampa market. The role focuses on collecting, verifying, and posting completion paperwork, deposits, and COD payments for all products within the Area.

The position reports to the Area Office Manager Branch Accountant and offers a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off, wellness program, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 1+ year accounting/collections experience preferred.
• Experience in Home Improvement/Sales industry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily work orders against data in Empire Today systems for markets within the Area.
• Make daily readiness calls to customers.
• Maintain an accurate list of upcoming installation projects for the markets within the Area.
• Collect and review completion documents from installation contractors.
• Process completion documents for completed jobs to recognize revenues accurately and timely.
• Research, document and contact Install Contractors for outstanding paperwork for markets within the Area.
• Distribute checks to Sales Consultants, Installation Contractors, and employees.
