Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Sonographer ARDMS to join our ultrasound team on a full-time day shift. You will operate ultrasound equipment and support radiologists in delivering timely, quality imaging for our patients.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year Allied Health degree or completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program.
• Valid ARDMS certification; RVT or AB or OB/GYN within 1 year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1–3 years of ultrasound technologist experience.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely.
• Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner.
• Record and process ultrasound images.
• Maintain quality improvement statistics.
• Collaborate with radiologists on findings.
