Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC on the North Slope of Alaska is seeking an Instrumentation Technician with journeyman-level experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems. This role performs Functional Check-Out (FCO) commissioning to ensure proper installation, operation, and performance of instrumentation and control equipment.

Candidates should have PLC, DCS, and calibration expertise, with strong troubleshooting and safety commitment.

Qualifications

• Requires five years' instrumentation experience in oil/gas.
• NSTC safety certification required.
• Able to work 3x3 rotation on North Slope/Alaska.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional Check-Out (FCO) commissioning activities.
• Test, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and control equipment.
• Calibrate and adjust instruments using precision tools.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to determine work requirements.
• Support safety and quality in all activities.
