Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC on the North Slope of Alaska is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility support for utility systems, buildings, piping, vessels, and equipment. The role requires knowledge of carpentry, scaffolding, insulation, sheet metal, mechanical bolt-up applications, and related equipment.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, ISO metric drawings, and P&I IDs/PDD to determine materials and equipment required for assigned work.
  • Hang and finish sheetrock, install dry wall, wall coverings, wood, paneling, siding, and other prefabricated materials.
  • Frame buildings, walls, footings, columns, shelves, and stairs.
  • Install wood, ceramic, and cement floors.
  • Install glass, ceiling tile, windows, and doors.
  • Mark, cut, and shape materials to prescribed measurements; use woodworking tools, power tools, and perform basic joinery techniques.
  • Fit, install, and maintain finished hardware such as locks and kick plates.
  • Build, erect, and dismantle scaffolding in compliance with Company and customer requirements.
  • Prepare reports, conduct safety audits as required, and maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Working from aerial platforms will be required.
  • Must be able to plan, organize, and execute work in a timely manner and communicate with CPAI planner and operators in the scheduling of daily work activities.
  • Able to assist in the field verification of piping and structural systems.
  • Ability to participate in the respiratory protection program
  • Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems, buildings, piping, vessels, and equipment as required; inspect and repair mechanical problems as required.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make recommendations to modify or replace equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.
  • Fabricate, install, and remove components of mechanical insulation and sheet metal.
  • Fabricate and install blankets for valves and flanges.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Fabric tent repair & maintenance.
