Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking a Ramp Agent for Qavvik Air operations at the Kotzebue base. The role involves hands-on ground handling for passengers, baggage, cargo, and aircraft, in outdoor Arctic conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in Arctic weather conditions.
• Experience in aviation, airport, or ramp operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft into and out of designated parking areas when trained.
• Assist with aircraft arrival, parking, securing, and departure.
• Install and remove wheel chocks, cones, and covers as appropriate.
• Load and unload baggage, freight, and other cargo.
• Assist with passenger movement and boarding assistance.
• Perform ramp-related ground-support tasks including snow and ice removal.
• Operate ground-support equipment only when trained and authorized.
• Maintain safety and awareness of hazards around aircraft and vehicles.
