Job summary

ASRC Energy Services is seeking a Laborer to support on-site project teams on the North Slope in Alaska. This entry-level role assists in keeping the jobsite running smoothly and safely, with duties spanning shop cleanliness, material handling, and basic maintenance.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a NSTC safety training certification, along with the ability to work a 4x2 rotation across rigorous site conditions.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work safely and in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work 80.5 hours per week on a 4x2 rotation.
  • NSTC safety training certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of construction experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep shop floor and keep work areas uncluttered.
  • Perform janitorial duties in shop and offices.
  • Clear debris and snow from sidewalks, stairs, etc.
  • Load and unload project materials.
  • Move materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Paletize materials for shipment and material handling.
  • Perform minor repairs and touch-up painting on building fixtures.
  • Assist in maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Periodically inventory supplies and equipment.
  • Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support zero-incident safety culture and personal accountability on all projects.
