Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Mechanical Quality Control Inspector for a remote Arctic construction project with an estimated one-year duration. The role expects a heavy field/audit focus, including Fab Shop and field inspections, reviews of drawings and quality plans, and coordination with the project team while on location in Prudhoe Bay.

The ideal candidate holds a CWI certification, at least four years of mechanical field experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires CWI certification per AWS QC1 and four years of related mechanical field experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping, welding and quality systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Perform Fab Shop and field installation inspections of equipment/materials per project quality plans and inspection procedures.
• Maintain compliance with project, corporate and customer QA/QC requirements.
• Notify supervisors of discrepancies between work and owner requirements.
• Review engineering drawings and track quality progress per scope of work documents.
• Assist in non-conformance reports and quality documentation updates.
