A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering services to the United States Coast Guard in Juneau, AK. This role involves detailed project support, engineering troubleshooting, and technical evaluations within the 17th Coast Guard District. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with building codes. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Mechanical engineering.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD required.
Demonstrated experience in National Building Codes and Mechanical Engineering sub-disciplines.
Advanced Mechanical degrees highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide Mechanical engineering services for CEU Juneau.
Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of studies and reports.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors on engineering issues.
Provide technical reviews for project designs.
Travel to assess contract performance and evaluate projects.
