Job summary

Worley is seeking a Down Hole Diagnostics Technician for a remote/rotational role in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The position offers meals and lodging on location, as well as transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay.

The role focuses on wellhead and down hole testing across the Greater Prudhoe Bay area and involves extensive field procedures. Essential duties include assisting with DHD tasks, monitoring wells, and performing a range of integrity tests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to acquire a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement within 6 months of employment
• Six months petrochemical, oilfield or arctic experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) certification training provided if needed

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with DHD tasks including tubing integrity fluid level testing, mechanical integrity testing, fluid level surveys, arctic pack de-pressure, well bleeding of gas and fluid, and outer annulus re-pressurization testing.
• Research the Well history of above jobs and learn to read well bore schematics.
• Perform well monitoring.
• Calculate formulas to determine fluid level.
• Perform bleeding operations.
• Perform Tubing Integrity Fluid Level Surveys (TIFLs).
• Perform MITs, CITs, NFT, LLRT tests.
• Calculate fluid gradient and tubular/annular volumes.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
