Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Librarian/Archivist to join the Fort Meade, MD onsite team.

The Archivist will apply the Records Disposition Schedule to advise on retention, organize permanent collections, train Archives Technicians, coordinate projects with the customer, and maintain the records database. The role requires strong records analysis, detail-oriented documentation, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance or active/previous clearance preferred.
Experience as Archivist, Archives Technician, or Records Management Officer.
Ability to read, analyze federal records and technical records.

Responsibilities

Create and prioritize lists of federal records eligible for permanent retention.
Analyze record types, provenance, original order, context, and subject contents.
Apply Records Disposition Schedule to retention/destruction decisions.
Communicate analysis of record groups and RDS to customers in writing and orally.
Create finding aids in the records database and describe records for retrieval.
Coordinate archival housing and supply needs with the customer.
Prepare weekly project status reports and communicate with customers.
Train and assist Archives Technicians in record identification and preservation.
Maintain professional, proactive relationships with customers.
