The Inventory Assistant plays an important role in the day-to-day management of the extensive archive and inventory systems. Working as part of a small team, this person will help maintain an extensive catalogue of clothing, accessories and personal items, ensuring everything is accurately logged, organized and readily available when needed.
Based primarily in Glendale, early start and early finish, with occasional local travel, the role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This person should have a keen eye for detail, take pride in maintaining high standards, and be confident managing large volumes of product while continually looking for ways to improve systems and processes
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the inventory and archive, ensuring all items are accurately logged, organized and easily accessible.
- Build and maintain clear records of all incoming and outgoing items, ensuring inventory is always kept up to date.
- Receive, unbox, inspect and organize deliveries before distributing items to the appropriate departments.
- Prepare samples and product selections for photoshoots, events, fittings and travel.
- Support the unpacking, steaming, hanging, tagging and organization of new product entering the archive.
- Maintain and improve inventory databases, ensuring accurate product information, locations and tagging.
- Carry out data entry and system updates with a high degree of accuracy.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure product can be located quickly and efficiently for day-to-day requests.
- Support regular inventory audits and identify any discrepancies or missing items.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve existing inventory systems, processes and organization.

Education & Experience
- Previous experience in an inventory, archive, wardrobe or stock management role preferred.
- Knowledge of fashion, luxury brands and the wider industry is advantageous.
- Experience using inventory management software such as Sortly is desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including confidence using spreadsheets and inventory databases.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable handling, unpacking and moving large volumes of clothing, accessories and product.
- Ability to stand, bend and lift throughout the working day.
- Occasional local travel between locations may be required.
- Able to work efficiently in a physically active, warehouse and archive environment.
