Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of archival processing or records management experience.
• Knowledge of archival arrangement, description, cataloging, and preservation.
• Experience maintaining inventories, metadata, finding aids, or digital collection records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
• Familiarity with archival databases or digital repositories.

Aufgaben

• Receive, evaluate, and organize archival materials.
• Arrange and describe collections per archival standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain finding aids, inventories, catalog records, and collection descriptions.
• Assess preservation requirements and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate collection databases, metadata, and processing documentation.
• Support digitization projects and verify digital records.
• Identify missing information, preservation concerns, and inconsistencies in documentation.
• Collaborate with library staff, researchers, records managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Retrieve and prepare archival materials for authorized research and reference requests.
• Monitor processing schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
